George Marshall is co-founder and current director of projects at the Climate Outreach Information
Network which works towards greater public engagement with climate change.
With 25 years of experience George has worked at all levels of the environment movement including
grassroots protest groups, as a senior campaigner for Greenpeace US and the Rainforest Foundation,
and as a consultant to both businesses and governments. He is a lead communications advisor to the
Welsh Government and has led academic, government and campaigner trainings around the world.
He writes a regular blog at www.climatedenial.org exploring our psychological response to climate
change and is the author of the forthcoming book “Don’t Even Think About It: Why Our Brains Are
Wired to Ignore Climate Change” due to be released in October 2014.
