    About WWF

    World Wide Fund For Nature

WWF takes an innovative, collaborative, science-based approach to achieve its mission of people living in harmony with nature.

From our experience as the world's leading independent conservation body, we know that the well-being of people, wildlife and the environment are closely linked.

We're striving to safeguard the natural world, helping people live more sustainably and taking action against climate change. Our work ranges from protecting the Amazon and the Arctic to transforming markets for natural resources such as palm oil, soy and fish.

WWF's on-the-ground work is powered by dedicated people - including leading scientists, policy experts, economists, lawyers and communicators.

WWF cannot achieve its goals alone. Strong partnerships with business, governments, local communities, academia and other non-governmental organisations are essential for driving change at the scale needed.

From small beginnings more than 50 years ago, WWF has been steadily growing. Today we work in more than 100 countries across the globe. Now, more than ever, we need your help to leave our children a living planet.
