Clouds a way to transport water

Fashion designer turned contemporary artist Lucy Orta started to question whether her role reflected the reality of society. After meeting her partner Jorge, she was inspired to create artworks to raise awareness of social and environmental issues. Following a trip to Egypt, she was compelled to create a series called Clouds, to highlight our globally precious resource: water.
